To lead the integration and development of engine systems for 3-wheeler vehicles, ensuring achievement of performance, durability, fuel efficiency, emission, cost, and quality targets. The role will act as a key interface between Engine Design, Vehicle Integration, Testing, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Electrical teams during product development.
Roles & Responsibility:
- Lead engine integration activities for new and existing vehicle platforms.
- Coordinate engine installation, mounting, cooling, intake, exhaust, fuel, transmission, and vehicle interface requirements.
- Ensure smooth integration of engine systems within vehicle architecture.
- Support development of engine and powertrain systems to meet performance, fuel economy, and emission targets.
- Participate in vehicle-level testing and performance evaluation.
- Coordinate resolution of engine-related issues during development and production stages.
- Plan and monitor engine, vehicle, durability, and field validation activities.
- Analyze test results and implement corrective actions.
- Support root cause analysis and failure investigations.
- Work closely with Design, Testing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchase, and Supplier teams.
- Coordinate with Electrical/ECU teams for engine interface requirements.
- Support prototype builds and new product development projects.
- Interact with engine and component suppliers for development, validation, and quality improvements.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, and validation reports.
- Support localization and cost optimization initiatives.
- Track project timelines and development milestones.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned projects.
- Prepare technical reports and management presentations.
