About the Role:
- We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Proposal Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in proposal preparation, estimation, costing, and techno-commercial activities, preferably in EPC, heavy engineering, industrial equipment, or air pollution control projects.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Review client enquiries, tender documents, and technical specifications.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposals for turnkey projects and equipment supply.
- Coordinate with design, procurement, and project teams for costing and proposal preparation.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors for outsourced manufacturing and services.
- Estimate project costs including materials, fabrication, erection, commissioning, and logistics.
- Prepare BOQs, costing sheets, compliance documents, and bid submissions.
- Support management in bid strategy and client negotiations.
- Maintain proposal records, costing databases, and bid status reports.
- Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of fabrication, industrial equipment, and erection processes.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; knowledge of AutoCAD will be an added advantage.
- Good analytical, estimation, and communication skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Preferred Industry Experience:
- EPC Projects, Heavy Engineering, Industrial Equipment Manufacturing, Air Pollution Control Systems, Material Handling Systems, or related industries.
