The ideal candidate balances operational excellence with aggressive business development.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Management
- Target Achievement: Drive ambitious sales targets for two-wheelers, accessories, and allied services (finance, insurance).
- Market Expansion: Analyze market trends and competitor activity to grow local market share.
- Bulk & Fleet Sales: Develop corporate accounts and institutional/fleet buyer relationships for bulk volume.
- Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with marketing teams to execute cost-effective promotional campaigns.
Service & Operations
- Workshop Profitability: Oversee end-to-end workshop operations, driving labor efficiency and parts inventory turnover.
- Service Excellence: Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to reduce vehicle turnaround time and ensure high First-Time-Right (FTR) repairs.
- Quality Compliance: Ensure all workshop operations meet OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) standards and local environmental regulations.
- Customer Retention: Oversee customer relationship management (CRM) to boost loyalty and handle high-level escalations effectively.
Leadership & Administration
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor department heads, sales executives, and service advisors.
- P&L Management: Oversee the dealership’s financial health by monitoring daily operating reports, cash flow, and overall profitability.
- OEM Relations: Act as the primary liaison between the dealership and the manufacturer to manage stock allocation, warranty claims, and brand compliance.
Ideal Qualifications
- Experience: 8–15 years of progressive experience in automobile dealership management, with specific expertise in the two-wheeler sector.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Automobile Engineering. An MBA is highly preferred.
- Skill Set: Strong proficiency in P&L analysis, CRM software, Dealer Management Systems (DMS), and strategic planning
