- Tooling Design & Drafting:
- Design and draft detailed tooling drawings for all forging machineries.
- Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and company specifications.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software for design and drafting activities.
- Forging Simulations:
- Setup & Conduct comprehensive forging & Heat Treatment simulations to analyze and optimize tooling designs.
- Predict potential issues and optimize tool design as per simulation results.
- Reverse Engineering:
- Conduct reverse engineering of existing machine parts and tools to understand their design and functionality.
- Create detailed drawings and specifications based on reverse engineering analysis.
- Drawing Control & Release:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date drawing records.
- Implement and enforce drawing control procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Release drawings to production and other relevant departments.
- Training Material Development:
- Develop and deliver training materials on forging processes, tooling design, and other related topics.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve tooling designs, forging processes, and overall operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in forging technology and industry best practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in tooling design and development for forging operations.
- Strong proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., CATIA, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and other relevant engineering standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
