About the Role
We are seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to design, develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have experience with custom themes, plugins, website performance optimization, and responsive web development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites.
- Create and customize WordPress themes and plugins.
- Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
- Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues.
- Ensure website security and regular updates.
- Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and plugins.
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in WordPress development.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Familiarity with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Gutenberg.
- Understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
- Knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with WooCommerce is preferred.
- Understanding of SEO principles and responsive design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with custom post types, hooks, and WordPress REST API.
- Knowledge of hosting environments, cPanel, and server management.
- Familiarity with React, Laravel, or modern JavaScript frameworks is a plus.
