Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting & Audit Manager to lead our accounting operations team. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple client engagements while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals and oversee their day-to-day activities.
- Review and supervise bookkeeping, accounting, financial reporting, and compliance assignments.
- Coordinate and manage audit support activities and related documentation.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, MIS reports, and reconciliations.
- Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and support professional development.
- Maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance across all client assignments.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Prepare management reports and provide regular updates to the Director.
- Implement process improvements and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, statutory requirements, and internal controls.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA/CA Inter/CPA/ACCA qualification is an added advantage).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or accounts outsourcing.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, taxation basics, and audit processes.
- Proven experience in managing and leading teams.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
