The Roseate Ganges is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Associate (Cast Member) to support our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient cleaning, pressing, sorting, and handling of hotel linen, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining the highest standards of quality, hygiene, and garment care.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, iron, fold, and finish hotel linen, uniforms, and guest garments.
- Operate laundry equipment including washing machines, dryers, flatwork ironers, and steam presses safely and efficiently.
- Inspect linen and garments for stains, damage, and quality before and after processing.
- Ensure timely delivery of guest laundry and staff uniforms as per hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times.
- Record laundry transactions and maintain accurate laundry logs.
- Follow laundry SOPs, chemical handling procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Report equipment malfunctions and damaged linen to the Laundry Supervisor.
- Support inventory control of linen, uniforms, and laundry supplies.
- Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum Higher Secondary (10+2); Hotel Management qualification is an added advantage.
- 1–2 years of experience in hotel laundry operations preferred.
- Knowledge of laundry chemicals, fabric care, stain removal, and garment handling.
- Basic understanding of commercial laundry equipment.
- Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to learn.
- Local candidates from Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dehradun, or nearby locations will be preferred.
