Key responsibilities
Financial Management
- Prepare annual budgets and monitor departmental expenses.
- Analyze revenue, costs, and profitability.
- Manage cash flow and working capital.
- Prepare financial forecasts and business plans.
Accounting
- Maintain the general ledger and accounting records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Ensure timely bank reconciliations and financial closing.
Billing & Revenue Cycle
- Oversee patient billing and collections.
- Monitor payments from insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate clients.
- Reduce outstanding receivables and improve revenue collection.
- Ensure billing accuracy and resolve financial discrepancies.
Taxation & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate internal and external audits.
- Maintain financial records according to applicable accounting standards.
- Implement internal financial controls.
Payroll & Vendor Management
- Supervise payroll processing.
- Manage vendor payments and contracts.
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers where appropriate.
