Position Summary: The Framecad Engineer is responsible for the design and detailing of cold-formed steel (CFS) structures using FrameCAD software. This includes the creation of wall panels, trusses, and floor panels for both residential and commercial structures, ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and structurally sound designs.
Qualifications:
- Education-B.E (Civil) Background and Skills:
- Expertise in using FrameCAD software for designing cold-formed steel (CFS)structures.
- Strong understanding of cold-formed steel components, including framing, roofing,flooring, and trusses.
- Knowledge of steel detailing and fabrication processes.
- Ability to create and modify design layouts for wall frames, roof trusses, and floor systems using FrameCAD.
- Familiar with the assembly, installation, and erection of CFS structures.
- Familiar with production workflows, factory setups, and production optimization.
- Hands-on experience with machines like F325iT, F450iT, and related FrameCAD machine setups.
- Advanced knowledge of FrameCAD structure, detailing, and sound knowledge of American standards.Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, analyze, and detail cold-formed steel structures using FrameCAD software.
- Generate accurate and detailed fabrication and erection drawings for wall frames,trusses, and panels.
- Prepare cost-effective design solutions for residential and commercial building projects.
- Coordinate with the detailing and production teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of design packages.
- Perform quality checks to ensure compliance with design standards and codes.
- Collaborate with the project team to create comprehensive construction specifications and BOM.
- Provide technical support for the installation and erection of designed systems.
Software Knowledge:
- FrameCAD (Structure, Detailer)
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Experience Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cold-formed steel design and detailing, specifically using FrameCAD.
- Experience in handling FrameCAD machinery and software is a must.
Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
