- Assist in planning and coordinating banquets, conferences, meetings, weddings, and other events.
- Ensure proper setup of banquet halls, including tables, chairs, linen, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and décor as per event requirements.
- Coordinate with the Banquet Manager, Sales, Kitchen, Stewarding, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other departments for smooth event execution.
- Brief banquet staff before every function regarding event details, guest requirements, service sequence, and special instructions.
- Supervise staff during events and ensure proper allocation of duties and work areas.
- Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality, presentation, and timely service.
- Handle guest requests, feedback, and complaints professionally and ensure prompt resolution.
- Ensure that all banquet areas are clean, organized, and maintained as per hotel standards.
- Monitor banquet equipment, furniture, crockery, cutlery, glassware, and other operating supplies and report shortages or damages.
- Assist in maintaining banquet inventory and control operational costs and wastage.
- Ensure proper billing, posting, and documentation related to banquet functions in coordination with the concerned departments.
- Monitor staff attendance, grooming, discipline, and adherence to hotel policies.
- Conduct on-the-job training and guide team members on service standards and operational procedures.
- Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, fire safety, and health & safety standards.
- Assist in preparing function sheets, event checklists, and other operational reports.
- Ensure timely completion of closing procedures after every function, including clearance, cleaning, and restoration of the banquet area.
- Support the Banquet Manager in achieving departmental revenue, guest satisfaction, and operational targets.
- Handle banquet operations in the absence of the Banquet Manager when assigned.
- Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Banquet Manager or senior management.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
