A Junior Architect supports senior architects in the planning, design, and execution of architectural projects. Typical job responsibilities include:
- Assist in developing architectural designs and concepts.
- Prepare 2D drawings, floor plans, sections, and elevations using AutoCAD or Revit.
- Create 3D models and renderings using SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, or similar software.
- Prepare construction drawings and project documentation.
- Coordinate with senior architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors.
- Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and take measurements.
- Ensure designs comply with building codes, regulations, and client requirements.
- Assist in preparing material specifications, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and presentations.
- Communicate with clients, vendors, and project teams as required.
- Meet project deadlines while maintaining drawing accuracy and quality.
Key Skills:
