Job Summary:
SkyOcean Shipping is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in UAE accounting and VAT compliance, preferably within the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing of accounts.
- Handle UAE VAT compliance, including VAT return preparation, reconciliations, and FTA requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities.
- Monitor customer collections, vendor payments, and maintain effective internal controls.
- Review freight-related accounting, job costing, and revenue recognition where applicable.
- Lead the accounts team and provide financial insights to support business decisions.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- 6–8 years of accounting experience with mandatory UAE VAT experience.
- Experience in the shipping, logistics, or freight forwarding industry is preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
