About the Role
We are a UAE-based consulting firm seeking an experienced Chartered Accountant for our Delhi (Pitampura) office to support accounting, audit, and financial reporting engagements for our UAE and international clients. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IFRS, audit, and accounting, along with the ability to work closely with overseas stakeholders and adapt to UAE regulatory and reporting requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and finalize financial statements for UAE/international clients in accordance with IFRS
- Lead and coordinate statutory, internal, and external audits for client engagements
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing for assigned clients
- Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and P&L statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT/Corporate Tax regulations, and other applicable statutory requirements
- Liaise directly with UAE-based clients, external auditors, and regulatory authorities
- Prepare MIS reports, budgets, and variance analysis for client management
- Support UAE Corporate Tax and VAT compliance and advisory assignments
- Identify process gaps and implement internal controls to improve accounting accuracy
- Assist in IFRS transition/convergence projects and technical accounting matters for clients
- Manage multiple client accounts/engagements simultaneously
- Mentor and guide junior team members/article assistants
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) — mandatory
- 5–6 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, and financial reporting
- Strong working knowledge and practical application of IFRS (mandatory)
- Proven experience in statutory/internal/external audit (consulting or CA firm background preferred)
- Willingness to work with UAE time zone overlap and international clients
- Knowledge of UAE VAT/Corporate Tax regulations is a strong plus
- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, etc.)
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Strong client-facing communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to independently manage multiple client deliverables and deadlines
- High attention to detail, professionalism, and confidentiality in handling client data
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with a consulting/CA firm serving GCC/UAE clients
- Exposure to consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities
- Willingness to travel to UAE occasionally, if required
