Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented New Product Design Executive/Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative beauty and cosmetic products aligned with market trends and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and analyze current trends in the beauty and cosmetics industry to identify new product opportunities
- Develop product concepts from ideation to final execution (formulation coordination, packaging, positioning)
- Collaborate with R&D, marketing, and packaging teams to bring products to life
- Create product design briefs including color palettes, textures, packaging aesthetics, and functionality
- Work closely with vendors and manufacturers for sampling and production
- Ensure product designs align with brand guidelines and customer expectations
- Conduct competitor analysis and benchmarking
- Oversee product lifecycle from concept to launch
- Maintain timelines and ensure timely delivery of projects
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Cosmetics, Product Development, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in product design/development, preferably in the cosmetics or beauty industry
- Strong understanding of beauty trends, formulations, and packaging innovations
- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.)
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and coordination abilities
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Prior experience in cosmetics/beauty brands will be highly preferred
- Knowledge of skincare/makeup product categories and market trends
- Experience in launching new beauty products from concept to market
