Who You Are
- Experienced: Total 6+ years of experience in paid media, 5+ years in Meta Ads (Google Ads a plus) with hands-on budget ownership and 1+ years of experience in working with Senior and Jr media buyers
- Data-Driven: Preferably from an engineering, analytics, or technical background—you love digging into numbers.
- Strategic: You build hypotheses, test methodically, and adapt based on insights—not guesswork.
- Resilient: You stay calm under pressure and improve through feedback and post-mortems.
- Strategic operator: You build scalable frameworks, make high-impact decisions, and guide performance beyond surface-level metrics.
- Clear communicator: You provide feedback, align cross-functional teams, and keep clients confidently informed—even during dips.
- Growth-minded: You’re proactive, reflective, and always looking to improve systems, creative strategy, and people.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and mentor a team of media buyers, ensuring strategic alignment and performance consistency.
- Oversee strategy, execution, and scaling of Meta and Google ad campaigns across multiple clients.
- Work cross-functionally with designers, copywriters, and account managers to align creative and funnel strategy.
- Drive research and analysis into markets, competitors, and customer behavior to guide campaign direction.
- Review and improve media buying systems, creative testing frameworks, and reporting structures.
- Diagnose performance issues using metrics like CTR, CPC, CR, LTV—not just ROAS.
- Own client performance: present insights, manage expectations, and develop action plans during scale or recovery.
