Job Summary
ShikshaSphere is looking for an experienced and engaging SSC GD GK/GS Teacher to conduct high-quality online live classes. This is a part-time, fully remote, work-from-home position.
The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the SSC GD General Knowledge and General Studies syllabus, excellent teaching and communication skills, and their own professional studio setup suitable for live streaming and video production.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct interactive live GK/GS classes for SSC GD aspirants.
- Cover the complete SSC GD General Knowledge and General Studies syllabus in a structured manner.
- Teach History, Geography, Polity, Economics, General Science, Static GK and Current Affairs.
- Explain complex topics using simple, engaging and exam-oriented methods.
- Conduct topic-wise and full-syllabus practice sessions.
- Solve Previous Year Questions (PYQs) and Previous Year Papers (PYPs).
- Conduct mock tests, test discussions and detailed solution sessions.
- Record exam-oriented generic, current affairs and concept-based videos.
- Create engaging educational short videos for YouTube and social media platforms.
- Keep the content accurate, relevant and updated according to the latest examination pattern.
- Engage with students during live sessions and resolve their academic doubts.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Graduation from a recognised university.
- Minimum 1 year of experience teaching GK/GS for SSC or other government competitive examinations.
- Strong knowledge of the latest SSC GD GK/GS syllabus and examination pattern.
- Sound knowledge of History, Geography, Polity, Economics, General Science, Static GK and Current Affairs.
- Excellent Hindi communication, teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain factual and conceptual topics clearly to students.
- Previous experience conducting live classes on YouTube or other online platforms is preferred.
- Comfortable appearing on camera and creating both long-form and short-form educational videos.
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent teaching schedule.

As this is a fully remote position, the candidate must have their own professional studio setup, including:
- 75-inch interactive panel or digital teaching board
- High-quality wireless headset microphone, such as the Sennheiser XSW 1-ME3-A, or an equivalent professional system
- 4K PTZ camera
- Six professional 2×2-foot panel lights
- High-performance, heavy-duty Lynch computer system
- Reliable power backup
- Stable internet connection with speed of up to 1000 Mbps
- Properly lit, audio-treated and distraction-free teaching environment
- Other essential equipment required for professional live streaming and video recording
