Job Description
The Proprietary Intraday Trader (CFD & Forex) will be responsible for identifying and executing intraday trading opportunities across global markets while maintaining strict risk management and trading discipline. The role requires independent decision-making, analytical thinking, and the ability to perform under dynamic market conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute intraday trades in:
- Forex CFDs
- Global Index CFDs
- Commodity CFDs (Gold, Silver, Crude Oil, etc.)
- Cryptocurrency CFDs
- Conduct pre-market and post-market analysis.
- Identify high-probability trading setups using technical and fundamental analysis.
- Monitor macroeconomic events, economic calendars, and market-moving news.
- Manage open positions and adjust strategies according to market conditions.
- Maintain detailed trading journals and performance reports.
- Adhere to defined risk management and capital preservation guidelines.
- Participate in strategy discussions and continuous process improvements.
- Work closely with management to develop and refine trading methodologies.
Required Qualifications/ Education
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Commerce, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
Professional certifications such as NISM, NCFM, CFA, FRM, or equivalent are advantageous but not mandatory.
Required Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of active intraday trading experience.
- Demonstrated experience trading live capital in CFDs and Forex markets.
- Experience trading one or more of the following:
- Major Forex pairs
- Gold and commodities
- Global indices
- Cryptocurrency CFDs
- Experience using proprietary, funded, or institutional trading accounts is preferred.
