Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and creative Solar Project Photographer, Videographer & Editor to document our completed residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar installations. You will be responsible for filming and producing high-impact customer testimonial videos, interviewing clients on-site, and capturing stunning ground and aerial imagery. Your multimedia content will directly drive our marketing campaigns, social media channels, and brand trust.
7.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct On-Site Interviews: Set up, light, and direct casual yet professional on-camera interviews with homeowners, business executives, and stakeholders to capture their solar success stories.
- Audio & Video Capture: Manage camera set up and ensure crisp, professional audio recording using microphones in outdoor or changing environments.
- Project Photography: Capture high-resolution imagery of solar arrays, inverters, and architectural integrations utilizing advanced composition and lighting techniques.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with on-site safety protocols, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where necessary.
- Video Editing & Storytelling: Cut, arrange, and edit testimonial footage into highly engaging short-form (social media reels/shorts) and long-form (website/YouTube) videos.
- Audio & Visual Polishing: Perform professional color grading, sound design, audio leveling, background music integration, and subtitle creation for video assets.
- Photo Retouching: Execute advanced photo editing (color correction, HDR blending, object removal, and perspective correction) in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop.
- Asset Management: Organize, format, and deliver optimized digital assets tailored for web, print, and social media platforms.
8.Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of professional experience in photography and video production, with a strong portfolio covering industrial/architectural visuals and human-interest/interview content.
- Technical Gear: Ownership of professional DSLR/mirrorless cameras capable of high-quality video (4K preferred), lighting kits, and professional audio recording gear (wireless mics).
- Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro) and photo editing suites (Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop).
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and directing skills to make everyday customers feel comfortable, natural, and confident on camera.
- Mobility: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to various project locations.
9.Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within the renewable energy, real estate, or construction sectors.
- Experience creating motion graphics, lower thirds, and text overlays for corporate videos.
