Job Summary :
We are looking for an experienced SAP Enterprise Portal Support Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Enterprise Portal administration, production support, and portal content management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing L2/L3 support, managing portal configurations, resolving incidents, handling user access issues, and ensuring the stability and performance of SAP Enterprise Portal environments.
The role requires close collaboration with SAP Basis, Security, and Functional teams to deliver support services within agreed SLA commitments while maintaining high system availability and user satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide L2/L3 support for SAP Enterprise Portal environments.
- Manage and support portal components including iViews, Roles, Worksets, and Portal Content.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, service requests, and user-reported issues.
- Support and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and authentication mechanisms.
- Perform user administration, role assignments, and access management activities.
- Coordinate transport requests and deployments across Development, QA, and Production systems.
- Monitor portal performance, availability, and system health.
- Conduct root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with SAP Basis, Security, and Functional teams for issue resolution and system maintenance.
- Support minor enhancements, configuration changes, and portal content updates.
- Ensure compliance with SLA commitments and support processes.
- Maintain support documentation, knowledge articles, and issue logs.
Mandatory Skills :
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Enterprise Portal (SAP EP).
- Experience providing L2/L3 Production Support.
- Expertise in:
- iViews
- Roles
- Worksets
- Portal Content Administration
- Experience with Single Sign-On (SSO) configurations and troubleshooting.
- User administration and access management experience.
- Knowledge of transport management and deployment processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Desired Skills :
- Experience working on SAP support and AMS projects.
- Exposure to SAP Basis administration activities.
- Knowledge of SAP Security and authorization concepts.
- Experience with SLA-based support environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management tools.
Preferred Experience :
- 6+ years of SAP experience.
- Strong experience in SAP Enterprise Portal support projects.
- Experience working with global support teams and enterprise environments.
- Ability to independently manage critical production issues and escalations.
Education :
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
Pay: ₹2,400,000.00 per year
