About the Role
INSD Coimbatore is looking for a passionate and experienced Faculty member in Architecture or Interior Design to deliver quality education, mentor students, and contribute to academic excellence. The ideal candidate should have strong subject knowledge, industry exposure, and a passion for teaching and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate courses in Architecture and Interior Design.
- Conduct theory classes, design studios, practical sessions, and workshops.
- Guide students in design projects, portfolios, competitions, and internships.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and maintain academic records.
- Evaluate student performance through presentations and examinations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch.) or Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Interior Design from a recognized institution.
- 0–5 years of teaching and/or professional industry experience preferred.
- Fresh candidates with good academic records and design portfolios may also apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or other relevant design software.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
Preferred Skills
- Strong design and visualization skills.
- Studio teaching and project mentoring experience.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and BIM concepts.
