Role Overview-
The faculty member will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of fashion professionals by combining academic rigor with industry relevance. This role involves teaching, mentoring, research, and industry collaboration to ensure students are prepared for careers in fashion design, fashion communication, and related creative industries. Faculty are expected to contribute to curriculum development, foster innovation, and strengthen ADYPU’s reputation as a global hub for fashion education.
Key Responsibilities
- Teaching & Mentorship: Deliver engaging lectures, studio sessions, and workshops in Fashion Design / Fashion Communication.
- Curriculum Development: Contribute to designing and updating curriculum aligned with industry trends and global standards.
- Research & Innovation: Undertake research, publish papers, and guide students in innovative projects.
- Industry Collaboration: Build partnerships with fashion houses, media, and design firms for internships, live projects, and placements.
- Student Development: Mentor students in competitions, exhibitions, and entrepreneurial ventures.
- Institutional Contribution: Participate in committees, accreditation processes, and university events.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Fashion Design, Fashion Communication, or related field.
- Strong academic record with industry exposure preferred.
- Prior teaching experience at reputed institutions is desirable.
- Portfolio of creative work, research, or industry projects.
