As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for clients. You will work closely with the project manager and other team members to understand client requirements and translate them into effective and user-friendly WordPress websites. Your primary focus will be on the development and maintenance of WordPress sites, ensuring high performance, security, and a seamless user experience.

Role Summary

Key Responsibilities:

1. Website Development:

Design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins based on client requirements.
Modify existing themes and plugins to enhance website functionality and aesthetics.
Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal viewing experience across various devices.

2. Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

3. Customization:

Customize and extend existing themes and plugins to meet specific project needs.
Implement and customize third-party tools and integrations as required by clients.

4. Optimization:

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability.
Conduct website testing and debugging to ensure functionality across different browsers and devices.

5. Security:

Implement security best practices to protect websites from potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Stay updated on the latest industry trends and security standards.

6. Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve issues related to website functionality, performance, or user experience.
Provide timely support and troubleshooting for client-reported issues.

7. Documentation:

Document code, development processes, and configurations to facilitate collaboration and future maintenance.
Keep detailed records of changes made to websites and update documentation accordingly.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
Proficient in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
Proficient in using Visual Composer, Elementor, and Wp-Bakery.
Experience with front-end frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
Familiarity with SEO principles and best practices.
Strong understanding of website architecture, user experience, and design principles.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, BCA, MCA, BCS or a related field is preferred.
