Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated English/Maths Teacher ( Grades I–V) for the Primary Section. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the English language, a love for literature, and the ability to inspire students through engaging, skill-oriented, and student-centered learning experiences. The teacher should foster confidence, creativity, and effective communication skills among students.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Academic Responsibilities
Teach English Language and
Strengthen students’ grammar, writing skills, comprehension, vocabulary, and spoken English.
Foster analytical thinking, literary appreciation, and creative expression through interactive learning.
Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with CBSE/ICSE curriculum objectives.
Use modern teaching methods such as group discussions, presentations, and project-based learning.
Integrate digital tools, multimedia resources, and smart boards to enhance classroom learning.
Student Development
Encourage participation in debates, elocution, drama, creative writing, and literary activities.
Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance to support student development.
Promote confidence, critical thinking, and effective communication skills.
Assessment & Evaluation
Conduct assessments, assignments, and class discussions to evaluate student progress.
Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support when necessary.
Collaboration & School Engagement
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress.
Participate actively in school events, assemblies, literary programs, and co-curricular activities.
Contribute to the overall academic and cultural environment of the school.
Qualifications & Requirements
Educational Qualification
Graduate/Postgraduate in English/Maths/B.Ed.
Experience
1–4 years of teaching experience at the primary level preferred.
Exceptional fresh graduates with strong subject knowledge and teaching aptitude may also apply.
Skills & Attributes
Excellent communication and written proficiency in English.
Strong classroom management skills.
Understanding of modern pedagogical approaches and assessment strategies.
Ability to integrate digital tools and smart boards in teaching.
