It helps enterprises improve uptime, reduce costs, and ensure compliance by proactively detecting anomalies and triggering automated remediation workflows.As an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, Comprinno helps organizations migrate, modernize, secure, and operate cloud environments while adopting emerging technologies such as Generative AI and cloud-native architectures.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise cloud transformation initiatives on AWS.This is a customer-facing leadership role that combines cloud architecture, DevOps engineering, infrastructure automation, migration consulting, project leadership, and team mentorship. The ideal candidate will work closely with enterprise customers, solution architects, project managers, and engineering teams to deliver secure, scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized cloud solutions.In addition to hands-on technical execution, this role will play a critical part in customer solutioning, technical presales, migration planning, AWS Well-Architected Reviews, project delivery, and capability building within Comprinno's Cloud Engineering practice.This role requires regular interaction with enterprise customers and may involve travel across India and internationally for workshops, migration assessments, architecture reviews, project kickoffs, escalations, and strategic consulting engagements.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Mentorship
- Lead and mentor teams of 3–5 Cloud & DevOps Engineers, driving technical excellence and career development.
- Conduct code reviews, architecture reviews, and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
- Define DevOps standards, engineering best practices, and operational processes across projects.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a culture of automation, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, capability development, and performance evaluations.
- Create reusable Terraform modules, CI/CD frameworks, migration accelerators, automation scripts, architecture blueprints, and operational playbooks.
Customer Engagement
- Lead customer discovery sessions, requirement gathering workshops, and technical architecture discussions.
- Create comprehensive Statements of Work (SOWs) including project scope, timelines, deliverables, assumptions, risks, and resource plans.
- Build Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) assessments and ROI analyses for migration, modernization, and optimization initiatives.
- Prepare and present technical proposals, migration strategies, architecture diagrams, and transformation roadmaps.
- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs), solution demonstrations, and technical validations.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer engagement lifecycle.
- Conduct AWS Well-Architected Framework Reviews (WAFR) and recommend remediation plans.
- Present modernization, security, resilience, and cost optimization recommendations to customer stakeholders.
Cloud Architecture & Migration
- Architect and lead migrations from VMware, on-premises environments, Azure, and GCP to AWS.
- Design AWS landing zones, multi-account architectures, governance models, and cloud operating models.
- Design secure, scalable, resilient, and highly available AWS architectures.
- Lead migration initiatives involving infrastructure, databases, applications, and platform modernization.
- Utilize AWS migration services including:
- AWS Application Migration Service (MGN)
- AWS Database Migration Service (DMS)
- AWS Migration Hub
- AWS Server Migration Service
- Design and implement Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery (BCDR) solutions including:

- Ensure operational readiness and knowledge transfer to CloudOps teams.
- Define SLAs, SLOs, and SLIs for critical workloads.
- Improve operational maturity through automation and standardization.
Project & Incident Management
- Lead large-scale cloud transformation projects from planning through execution.
- Manage project timelines, risks, dependencies, stakeholder communication, and delivery governance.
- Drive major incident resolution and coordinate technical escalations.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Development, Security, QA, Operations, and Customer teams.
- Manage on-call processes and escalation procedures where applicable.
Documentation & Knowledge Sharing
- Create architecture documents, runbooks, operational procedures, deployment guides, and technical standards.
- Deliver technical training sessions for customers and internal teams.
- Document lessons learned, reusable patterns, and implementation best practices.
- Contribute to Comprinno's Cloud Center of Excellence and knowledge repositories.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps Engineering, Infrastructure Automation, or Platform Engineering.
- At least 3 years of experience leading engineering teams and mentoring technical professionals.
