A Solar Power Plant Technician is responsible for installing, testing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. The role includes mounting solar panels, electrical wiring, inverter installation, system commissioning, routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The technician works closely with engineers and project teams to ensure efficient system performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install solar PV modules, mounting structures, inverters, and electrical components.
- Perform system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of solar power plants.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company procedures.
- Maintain installation records and report site progress.
- Coordinate with supervisors and customers during project execution.
Qualifications:
- ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of electrical wiring and solar PV systems.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and use testing instruments.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
