Job Title: Quality Trainee
Location: Mysore, Karnataka
About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and detail-oriented Quality Trainees to join our Quality Assurance team. This role offers hands-on exposure to inspection processes, quality control systems, measurement techniques, and manufacturing quality standards in the CNC machine tool industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Perform dimensional inspection of components using measuring instruments.
- Support quality checks during machine assembly and production processes.
- Maintain inspection reports, quality records, and documentation.
- Assist in identifying quality issues and reporting non-conformities.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities under guidance.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of measuring instruments.
- Coordinate with Production, Stores, Purchase, and Design departments on quality-related matters.
- Participate in continuous improvement and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Follow safety, quality, and process guidelines at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with up to 2 years of experience in quality inspection or manufacturing will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Basic knowledge of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with measuring instruments such as:
- Vernier Caliper
- Micrometer
- Height Gauge
- Dial Indicator
- Bore Gauge
- Understanding of quality inspection and documentation processes.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and grow in the quality domain.
