SPACEMAGUS is an architecture and interior design practice with active projects across scales, contexts, and typologies, pan-India. If you have recently graduated in Architecture and are eager to transition from academic concepts to tactile, buildable architecture beyond software production — through design thinking, drawing, research, site work, and hands-on making — we would love to hear from you.
We are growing, and we are looking for someone who wants to learn, contribute, and grow with us.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
1. Work on pre-design studies and develop project presentations.
2. Collaborate on concept development and spatial programming.
3. Develop 3D models and produce high-quality presentation graphics.
4. Translate design concepts into working drawings.
5. Explore materials and develop construction details.
6. Participate in site visits and construction coordination.
WHAT YOU MUST HAVE
1. A genuine interest in how buildings actually get built — beyond the design desk.
2. Strong design, graphic, and verbal communication skills.
3. Proficiency in CAD, digital modelling, and photo/graphic editing.
4. The ability to translate concepts into spatial designs.
5. The ability to read and correlate architectural working drawings.
6. An eye for detail and a curiosity for materials.
WHAT’S GOOD TO HAVE
1. Strong sketching and photography skills.
2. Familiarity with AI image generation tools such as Midjourney, NanoBanana, or similar.
3. Prior exposure to construction sites or hands-on workshops.
4. The ability to read and correlate structural and services drawings.
5. Familiarity with building bye-laws and the NBC.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
1. Salary in the range of ₹15,000 – ₹20,000/month, commensurate with skills.
2. Direct mentorship in a close-knit working environment of a published, growing practice.
3. Exposure to live architecture and interior projects, pan-India, across all project stages.
4. Growing responsibility and a more senior role within the studio as you demonstrate your capabilities.
