The Job
This role is for a Manager of Infrastructure & Network Engineering within the Global Infrastructure Team, with a regional remit across Asia Pacific. The position leads the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure services supporting WBD’s Studio Tours, themed entertainment, and retail businesses, alongside the on-premises compute, storage, and virtualization environments used by Media Supply Chain, Engineering, and other regional workloads.
The role manages a distributed team of network and infrastructure engineers based in Singapore, Australia, and Japan, and is responsible for delivering the technology that underpins new retail stores, tour venues, and new builds, from early design engagement through to operational handover. Scope spans end-to-end networking (equipment selection and ordering, carrier circuits, configuration, and deployment), physical infrastructure (server rooms, racking, structured cabling, power and cooling), and the in-venue systems that depend on them, including Wi-Fi, retail point-of-sale, ticketing, CCTV, physical security, and other on-premises platforms.
A core part of the role is bridging business and stakeholder requirements to the right delivery teams, including internal WBD technology functions, external Managed Service Providers, vendors, and Joint Venture partners, ensuring that application owners, venue operations, Joint Venture partners, and project stakeholders receive coordinated infrastructure outcomes. The manager also partners with central infrastructure teams on compute, storage, and virtualization standards and support, and works closely with Media Supply Chain and Engineering teams on the virtual environments that support their workflows.
You will provide day-to-day supervision, leadership, and coaching to ensure work is progressing on track, ServiceNow queues are actively managed, and issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner.
The Global Infrastructure team provides 24x7 engineering and tier 3 support for stakeholders globally. You will be responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing regional capability that meets the world-class standards for which Warner Bros. Discovery is known
Spoken and written English is required.
