Experience
3–8 Years in Aluminium Doors & Windows, Façade Systems, Structural Glazing, Architectural Glass, uPVC Windows, or Building Materials.
Qualification
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Architecture, or a related Engineering discipline.
- MBA in Marketing is an added advantage.
Job Summary
We are seeking a technically competent and customer-focused Technical Sales Engineer to drive business growth by providing innovative aluminium window and façade solutions. The role involves understanding customer requirements, conducting site visits, reviewing drawings, preparing techno-commercial proposals, coordinating with internal teams, and converting enquiries into successful orders while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development
- Generate new business opportunities through builders, architects, consultants, contractors, developers, and corporate clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new project opportunities through market research and networking.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Technical Sales & Solution Consulting
- Understand project requirements and recommend suitable aluminium doors, windows, sliding systems, folding systems, glazing, and façade solutions.
- Explain product features, performance, design options, hardware, and glass specifications.
- Provide value-engineered alternatives without compromising quality or functionality.
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.
Site Visits & Technical Assessment
- Visit project sites to understand project scope and customer requirements.
- Take preliminary site measurements and verify installation feasibility.
- Identify technical challenges and propose practical solutions.
- Coordinate with project teams on site-related technical issues.
- Attend client meetings, design discussions, and progress reviews.
Estimation & Techno-Commercial Proposals
- Review architectural drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with the Estimation team for BOQ preparation and costing.
- Prepare and present detailed techno-commercial quotations.
- Explain pricing, scope of work, exclusions, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Follow up on quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
Project Coordination
- Coordinate with the Design, Production, Procurement, and Project teams after order confirmation.
- Ensure customer requirements are communicated accurately to internal teams.
- Support project execution by resolving technical queries.
- Monitor order progress and keep customers informed.
Customer Relationship Management
- Maintain regular follow-up with clients throughout the sales cycle.
- Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
- Build long-term relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain CRM records of enquiries, quotations, follow-ups, and confirmed orders.
- Prepare weekly sales reports, visit reports, and pipeline updates.
- Track sales performance against targets.
- Submit monthly business forecasts.

- Ability to read architectural and AutoCAD drawings.
- Understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
