Job Summary
SCISM Group of Schools is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef/Cook to prepare nutritious, hygienic, and high-quality meals for students and staff. The ideal candidate should possess strong culinary skills, maintain high standards of cleanliness, and be capable of managing large-scale food preparation efficiently.
Food and Accommodation will be provided by the institution.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook healthy and nutritious meals for students and staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.
- Ensure proper food storage, handling, and preparation practices.
- Assist in menu planning and meal scheduling.
- Monitor food quality, freshness, and portion control.
- Maintain inventory of food supplies and kitchen equipment.
- Minimize food wastage and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Follow all food safety and health regulations.
Qualifications
- Diploma / Certificate in Catering Technology, Hotel Management, Food Production, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in schools, hostels, hotels, restaurants, or catering establishments preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Ability to prepare meals for large groups efficiently.
