Looking for a creative and detail-oriented Illustrator to develop engaging, child-friendly, and curriculum-aligned illustrations for school textbooks, workbooks, digital content, and marketing materials. The ideal candidate should have strong drawing skills, creativity, and the ability to convert educational concepts into visually appealing artwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Create original illustrations for school textbooks, workbooks, storybooks, and digital learning resources.
- Develop character designs, educational diagrams, infographics, icons, and activity-based illustrations.
- Work closely with the Editorial, Design, and Product Development teams to understand illustration requirements.
- Revise artwork based on editorial and design feedback.
- Ensure consistency in style, color palette, and branding across publications.
- Prepare print-ready and digital-ready illustration files.
- Meet project timelines while maintaining high-quality standards.
Required Skills
- Excellent drawing and sketching skills.
- Strong understanding of anatomy, perspective, composition, and color theory.
- Proficiency in:
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe Photoshop
CorelDRAW
Adobe InDesign (preferred)
- Knowledge of AI-based illustration tools is an added advantage.
- Ability to create vector and raster illustrations.
- Basic understanding of print production and publishing workflows
