Account Manager – IT Hardware/Software & Managed Services

About the Role
Synergy IT ( www.synergyit.com: synergyit.ca ) we are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Account Manager to manage client relationships, prepare proposals and quotations, coordinate with technical teams, and drive revenue growth through the sale of IT hardware, software licenses, cloud solutions, and managed services.
The ideal candidate will act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent service delivery while identifying opportunities to expand business relationships and close new deals.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts.
- Build long-term relationships with clients and understand their business and technology requirements.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and account reviews to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling products and services.
Sales & Business Development
- Generate and manage sales opportunities from existing and new clients.
- Prepare and present professional business proposals and presentations.
- Develop and submit quotations for hardware, software licensing, cloud solutions, and managed services.
- Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
Solution & Proposal Development
- Gather customer requirements and work with technical teams to design suitable solutions.
- Coordinate the preparation of Statements of Work (SOW), proposals, and pricing documents.
- Ensure solutions meet customer expectations and business objectives.
Project Coordination & Service Delivery
- Act as the liaison between clients and technical delivery teams.
- Coordinate project kick-offs, implementation activities, and service onboarding.
- Monitor project progress and ensure commitments are delivered on time and with quality.
- Escalate and resolve customer concerns when required.
Vendor & Licensing Management
- Coordinate with vendors and distributors for product pricing and availability.
- Manage software license renewals and service contract renewals.
- Track sales opportunities, renewals, and customer lifecycle activities.
Reporting & Administration
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline updates.
- Prepare sales forecasts and account performance reports.
- Monitor contract status, renewals, and ongoing service engagements.
Required Skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Experience preparing business proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Strong client account management and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to understand and discuss technical solutions with customers and engineers.
- Experience managing multiple customer accounts simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–5+ years of experience in Account Management, IT Sales, Business Development, or Client Services.
- Experience selling or supporting IT hardware, software licensing, cloud services, cybersecurity solutions, or managed IT services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Licensing, Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, Networking, or Cybersecurity solutions is an advantage.
- Experience using CRM platforms and proposal management tools.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
