Role Overview
An Equity Dealer is responsible for executing buy and sell orders in the stock market on behalf of clients or the firm, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines set by SEBI and stock exchanges like NSE and BSE. The role involves real-time market monitoring, client interaction, and trade execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute equity trades (buy/sell) in cash and derivatives segments
- Monitor live market trends, stock movements, and news impacting securities
- Maintain records of transactions and client orders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Coordinate with research and advisory teams for trade ideas
- Manage risk and ensure proper margin utilization
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of equity markets and trading platforms
- Familiarity with technical analysis and market indicators.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Attention to detail and quick decision-making
- Basic knowledge of derivatives (F&O) is preferred
Qualifications
- Mandatory certification: NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) or relevant modules from NISM
- Prior experience (0–1+ years depending on role level)
Tools & Platforms
- Trading terminals like ODIN.
- Excel and basic financial analysis tools
Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
