Role - Content Lead
Role Summary:
The Content Lead will be responsible for managing and optimizing all descriptive and visual content across the platform to ensure high-quality customer experience, marketplace competitiveness, and content accuracy. The role will oversee hotel descriptions, images, room content, search visibility, mapping quality, and overall content performance standards across domestic and international hotel inventory.
The position will play a key role in improving platform discoverability, customer conversion, supplier content quality, and operational accuracy while coordinating with Contracting, Connectivity, Product, and Technology teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Management & Quality Control

Own and manage all descriptive and visual hotel content across the platform.
- Ensure hotel descriptions, room details, amenities, policies, and inclusions are accurate and standardized.
- Monitor and improve overall content quality scores across the marketplace.
Ensure consistency in content formatting and presentation standards.

Visual Content Management

Manage hotel image quality, sequencing, categorization, and relevance.
- Ensure visual content accurately represents hotel products and room categories.
- Coordinate with hotel partners and internal teams for image updates and corrections.
Maintain visual content standards to improve customer engagement and conversion.

Search & Discoverability Optimization

Work closely with Product and Technology teams to improve hotel discoverability within search results.
- Optimize content relevance and search mapping quality.
- Monitor content-driven search performance and visibility gaps.
Support initiatives to improve search ranking and customer experience.

Mapping & Content Accuracy

Oversee hotel and room mapping accuracy across connected and static inventory.
- Coordinate with Connectivity and Loading teams for correction of mapping discrepancies.
- Ensure duplicate property and room mapping issues are minimized.
Monitor content synchronization across connectivity partners and marketplace feeds.

Marketplace Quality Management

Track and improve marketplace content quality metrics and operational benchmarks.
- Identify low-quality content areas and drive corrective action plans.
- Maintain quality standards for newly onboarded hotels and chains.
Conduct regular audits of hotel and room content across the platform.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Contracting, Connectivity, Product, Yield, and Operations teams.
- Work with hotel partners for content corrections and updates.
- Support tactical campaigns and promotions through content optimization initiatives.
Ensure alignment between commercial objectives and marketplace presentation quality.

Reporting & Analytics

Monitor content performance metrics, search visibility, and quality scores.
- Prepare MIS reports related to content health, mapping quality, and operational gaps.
- Share insights and recommendations for improving customer experience and conversion.
