Position: Bartender
Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at The Magnus Hotel. The candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, maintaining bar hygiene standards, handling guest requests professionally, and ensuring excellent guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes.
- Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the bar counter, glassware, and equipment.
- Ensure proper stock management and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Check guest age identification where required and follow responsible serving practices.
- Handle cash and billing accurately through the POS system.
- Maintain knowledge of cocktails, mocktails, spirits, wines, and bar menu items.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service team for smooth operations.
- Follow hotel safety, hygiene, and grooming standards at all times.
- Assist in bar setup and closing procedures daily.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Bartender in hotels, restaurants, or lounges preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation and beverage service.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of billing/POS systems is an added advantage.
- Positive attitude and customer service orientation.
Qualification
- Any Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management preferred.
- Relevant experience in Food & Beverage Service preferred.
