Job Summary
The Operations / Logistics Assistant Manager will support end-to-end coordination of dispatch, inventory, transportation, and warehouse activities to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment. The role focuses on process efficiency, cost control, and coordination between sales, warehouse, and transport teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Order Processing & Dispatch Coordination
- Coordinate with sales team for order confirmation and dispatch planning.
- Ensure timely and accurate order processing.
- Monitor daily dispatch schedules and delivery timelines.
- Resolve delivery delays and logistics issues proactively.
2. Inventory & Warehouse Management
- Monitor stock levels and ensure availability of products.
- Coordinate inward and outward material movement.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconciliation.
- Minimize stock discrepancies and damage.
3. Transportation & Vendor Coordination
- Manage transporters and logistics vendors.
- Negotiate freight rates and control transportation costs.
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain documentation related to dispatch and transportation.
4. Process Optimization
- Identify gaps in operations and suggest improvements.
- Implement SOPs for dispatch, inventory, and logistics control.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety standards.
5. Team Supervision
- Supervise warehouse staff and logistics coordinators.
- Allocate daily tasks and monitor performance.
- Ensure discipline and adherence to operational processes.
6. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports.
- Maintain accurate records of dispatches, stock movement, and logistics expenses.
- Track KPIs related to delivery performance and inventory turnover.

Qualifications
- Graduate / MBA in Operations, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- 3–6 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or operations management
- Experience in industrial / B2B environment preferred
