Job Summary:
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, business growth, team management, and profitability of the branch. The role includes achieving sales and collection targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the branch efficiently.
- Achieve monthly business targets (sales, collections, revenue).
- Lead, supervise, and motivate branch staff (sales, collection, back office).
- Monitor daily collections, deposits, and cash handling processes.
- Ensure high standards of customer service and relationship management.
- Develop strategies to increase business and customer base.
- Track performance of employees and provide training/improvement plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and legal guidelines.
- Handle escalations, customer complaints, and critical issues.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly reports to management.
- Maintain coordination with head office and other departments.
Requirements:
- Graduate / Postgraduate (MBA preferred).
- 2–5+ years of experience in branch operations, sales, banking, NBFC, or finance sector.
- Proven experience in team handling and target achievement.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Good knowledge of financial products, collections, and operations.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Excel, CRM, etc.).
