Job Description
We are hiring a Production & Quality Engineer to oversee assembly operations and quality activities on the shop floor. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of production processes, quality inspection, and shop floor coordination. Candidates with 2–3 years of experience as well as fresh Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform assembly activities as per production plans and work instructions.
- Monitor and maintain product quality during the assembly process.
- Conduct in-process and final quality inspections.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate with the production team for corrective actions.
- Maintain production and quality records, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with internal teams to achieve daily production targets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.
- Maintain housekeeping and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of production and quality processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of databases or ERP/CRM software will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
- Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience
- 2–3+ years of experience in Production, Assembly, Quality Inspection, or a similar manufacturing role.
