Job Summary:
Merlis Hotels Coimbatore is seeking a courteous and professional Doorman to create a warm first impression for our guests. The ideal candidate should have excellent customer service skills, a well-groomed appearance, and a friendly, welcoming attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure.
- Open and close doors for guests and assist with entry and exit.
- Assist guests with luggage and coordinate with the Bell Desk when required.
- Guide guests to the reception, lobby, or other hotel facilities.
- Provide basic information about hotel services and amenities.
- Ensure the entrance area is clean, presentable, and free from obstructions.
- Assist in managing guest and vehicle flow at the hotel entrance.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the hotel's grooming standards.
- Coordinate with the Front Office and Security teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
Requirements:
- Higher Secondary School or equivalent qualification.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role in a reputed hotel is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well-groomed, courteous, and customer-focused.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Knowledge of the regional language (Tamil) and basic English is preferred.
- Experience in a 5-star hotel is an added advantage.

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
