- Manage day-to-day spare parts inventory and stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and store spare parts accurately. Issue spare parts to the service team against approved job cards.
- Monitor stock movement and maintain optimum inventory levels.
- Raise purchase requisitions and coordinate with vendors/OEM for timely procurement.
- Maintain inventory records, GRNs, stock registers, and ERP/DMS entries.
- Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Identify slow-moving, fast-moving, and non-moving inventory.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and housekeeping of the spare parts store.
- Process warranty and defective parts as per OEM guidelines.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.
- Coordinate with the Service Manager to ensure uninterrupted workshop operations.
- Follow company policies related to inventory control and safety.
- Required Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in spare parts management in an automobile or EV dealership.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, ERP/DMS software, and MS Excel.
- Good understanding of automotive or EV spare parts. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.
