1. Fabrication Planning & Execution
- Plan daily fabrication activities as per production schedule.
- Ensure fabrication work is carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate cutting, welding, fit-up, grinding, drilling, and assembly operations.
- Monitor fabrication progress and achieve production targets.
- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
2. Drawing & Technical Interpretation
- Read and interpret fabrication drawings, GA drawings, and shop drawings.
- Verify dimensions, tolerances, and welding requirements before fabrication.
- Coordinate with design and project teams for drawing clarifications.
- Prepare cutting plans and fabrication sequences.
3. Welding & Quality Control
- Ensure proper welding procedures and standards are followed.
- Monitor weld quality and fabrication accuracy.
- Coordinate inspection activities such as dimensional checks and welding inspections.
- Rectify fabrication defects and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications.
4. Material Management
- Verify raw material availability and specifications.
- Monitor material consumption and reduce wastage.
- Coordinate with stores and procurement departments for fabrication requirements.
- Maintain records of material usage and scrap generation.
5. Production Coordination
- Coordinate with production, quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure timely completion of fabrication jobs to meet delivery schedules.
- Monitor machine and equipment availability for fabrication operations.
- Assist in load planning and dispatch readiness.
6. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure safe working practices in fabrication areas.
- Enforce PPE usage and shop floor safety standards.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety awareness activities.
- Report unsafe conditions and implement corrective measures.
7. Team Supervision
- Supervise welders, fitters, gas cutters, helpers, and operators.
- Allocate work and monitor worker productivity.
- Train workers on fabrication procedures and quality standards.
- Maintain discipline and coordination within the team.
8. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain fabrication progress reports and production records.
- Prepare daily production and manpower reports.
- Maintain inspection reports, welding records, and quality documents.
- Update fabrication status for management review.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
