Job Summary
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Merchandiser with 1–3 years of experience in the garment, fashion, or ethnic-wear industry.
The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of women’s ethnic wear, fashion trends, product selection, stock movement, and customer preferences. The role involves coordinating with internal teams to ensure the right products are available, presented effectively, and support sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor fashion and market trends in women’s ethnic wear and identify new product opportunities.
- Assist in product selection, assortment planning, and merchandising based on customer demand and sales performance.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Design, Production, Inventory, and Sales teams for product requirements.
- Monitor stock levels, fast-moving and slow-moving products, and recommend replenishment or movement plans.
- Analyze sales and product performance to improve product assortment.
- Ensure products are properly categorized, displayed, priced, and available for sale.
- Support new collection launches, seasonal collections, and promotional activities.
- Maintain accurate product details, records, and merchandising reports.
- Track competitor products, pricing, designs, and market trends.
- Ensure timely coordination for product availability and resolve merchandising-related issues.
Requirements
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in women’s ethnic wear / garments / fashion retail.
- Good knowledge of ethnic-wear products, fabrics, designs, and current fashion trends.
- Strong understanding of product assortment and stock movement.
- Good MS Excel and reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Good analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively with multiple teams in a fast-paced fashion environment.
- Strong interest in fashion, trends, and customer preferences.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
