Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all fabrication activities during the assigned shift (Day or Evening).
- Ensure the production of high-quality mechanical parts and prototypes in line with R&D specifications and timelines.
- Interpret technical drawings, and fabrication instructions accurately.
- Manage fabrication staff, allocate tasks, and monitor performance throughout the shift.
- Operate or oversee the use of machines, manual machines, welding tools, 3D printers, and other fabrication equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve fabrication challenges.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment at all times.
- Oversee shift changeovers to ensure smooth communication and task continuity.
- Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery, and coordinate maintenance as needed.
- Uphold all workplace safety regulations and company policies.
Shift Schedules:
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
- 2 years of fabrication or machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication processes (machining, welding, forming, additive manufacturing).
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD designs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred).
- Experience in working with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites.
