About the Role
We’re looking for a Kidswear Designer who combines creativity with strong execution. You will own the toddler line end-to-end—from trend research and prints to fits and final garments. The role requires a sharp eye for premium, playful design and the ability to solve fit and construction challenges. Proficiency in design tools and familiarity with AI will help you move fast and innovate.
Key Responsibilities
- You are a Fixer & a Maker: You don’t just sketch pretty pictures. You care about how the clothes actually work. If a sample sleeve is too tight for a toddler to climb in, you rip it apart, fix the silhouette, and make it right.
- You Have Grit: You have that restless energy to get things done. And you don’t stop until the final garment in your hand looks perfect.
- You See in Prints & Silhouettes: You have an exceptional eye for kid-friendly, playful, yet sophisticated shapes. You can turn a blank fabric into a beautiful, custom-printed masterpiece that stands out.
What You'll Do:
- Own the Kids Line: Research global trends and design seasonal collections (shapes, fits, and color palettes) for toddlers.
- Develop Original Prints: Create unique, custom seamless prints and patterns that moms will instantly fall in love with.
- Prototyping & Fits: Lead the sampling process. Do fit-tests, check the stretch and comfort, and solve construction problems on the spot.
Requirements:
- 1–4 years of experience specifically in Kids Wear design.
- Great tech skills (Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop) to create prints and tech packs fast,
- The "Itch": A portfolio that proves you love making things and a mindset that loves solving design puzzles.
- AI Integration: Familiarity with AI Generation tools
- Aesthetics: A refined sense of style that aligns with the soft, premium, and nurturing feel of our brand.
Pay: ₹350,000.00 - ₹420,000.00 per year
