Job Summary
The Dermal Therapist is responsible for providing professional skin and aesthetic treatments, assisting doctors with advanced procedures, and ensuring excellent patient care. The role involves performing non-invasive skincare treatments, maintaining hygiene standards, educating clients on skincare, and helping achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Client Consultation
- Conduct initial skin assessments and analyze skin conditions.
- Recommend suitable skincare treatments and products.
- Explain treatment procedures, benefits, and aftercare to clients.
- Maintain accurate client treatment records.
2. Skin & Aesthetic Treatments
Perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures such as:
- Medical facials
- Chemical peels (as per clinic protocols)
- Hydra facial / aqua facial treatments
- Microdermabrasion
- LED therapy
- Skin rejuvenation treatments
- Laser treatment assistance
3. Doctor Assistance
- Assist dermatologists during aesthetic procedures such as lasers, injectables, and advanced skin treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment before procedures.
- Ensure proper sterilization and hygiene.
4. Client Care & Follow-ups
- Provide post-treatment care instructions.
- Monitor patient recovery and results.
- Handle follow-up appointments and treatment plans.
5. Clinic Hygiene & Equipment Maintenance
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of treatment rooms.
- Ensure proper handling of medical devices and skincare equipment.
- Monitor stock of skincare products and consumables.
6. Product & Treatment Promotion
- Educate clients about clinic skincare products.
- Recommend appropriate home-care regimens.
- Support clinic sales targets through treatment and product recommendations.
