Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end warehouse
operations. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and
timely dispatch while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and cost control. Prior experience in
automotive warehouse operations, specifically car sequencing, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead overall warehouse operations including receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch.
Ensure efficient car sequencing operations in line with production schedules and Just-In-Time (JIT)
requirements.
Coordinate with production, transport, and supply chain teams to maintain seamless material flow.
Implement and monitor warehouse KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turnaround time, and on-time
delivery.
Optimize warehouse layout, processes, and manpower utilization for maximum efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Manage vendor relationships, logistics partners, and third-party service providers.
Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff and supervisors.
Control operational budgets and reduce costs without compromising service levels.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
10–15 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Mandatory experience in automotive industry warehouse operations.
Strong experience in car sequencing / line sequencing processes.
Proven track record in managing large-scale warehouse operations.
Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
Familiarity with JIT/JIS (Just-In-Sequence) concepts.
