Job Summary
The Electric Vehicle (EV) Simulation & Siemens Software Expert is responsible for delivering advanced training, simulation, research, and industrial consultancy using Siemens Digital Industries Software solutions. The role focuses on thermal management, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), finite element analysis (FEA), structural analysis, multiphysics simulations, and digital twin technologies for Electric Vehicle systems. The expert will support teaching, research, industry projects, laboratory development, and certification programs while mentoring students and faculty in Siemens Xcelerator software.
Key Responsibilities1. Training & Laboratory Management
- Conduct hands-on laboratory sessions using Siemens engineering software.
- Deliver classroom and industry-oriented training on simulation workflows.
- Develop practical exercises, case studies, and industrial projects.
- Design competency-based assessments and certification programs.
- Train faculty, students, and industry professionals on Siemens tools.
2. FloEFD Simulation
Develop and validate simulations for:
- Battery thermal management
- Electronic cooling
- Motor cooling
- Inverter cooling
- Power electronics
- Airflow analysis

- Under-hood thermal analysis

Perform simulations including:

5. Electric Vehicle Engineering
Develop and analyze simulations for:

6. Digital Twin & Siemens Xcelerator
- Support Digital Twin implementation.
- Integrate simulation with product lifecycle workflows.
- Work with Siemens Xcelerator ecosystem.
- Support Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) initiatives.
- Enable virtual validation before physical prototyping.
7. Research & Development
- Lead industrial research projects.
- Publish research papers in high-impact journals.
- File patents and technology disclosures.
- Develop innovative EV simulation methodologies.
- Guide postgraduate and doctoral research.
- Mentor student innovation and competition teams.
8. Industry Collaboration
- Execute consultancy and industrial simulation projects.
- Collaborate with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and engineering service companies.
- Deliver Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), Executive Development Programs (EDPs), and Corporate Training Programs (CEPs).
- Coordinate internships and sponsored research.
- Support technology transfer initiatives.
9. Laboratory Development
Develop and maintain:
- Simulation laboratory infrastructure
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Training manuals
- Laboratory practical journals
- Industrial case studies
- Software licensing records

10. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain:
