This is a remote position.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, profitability, and business growth targets in the sustainable textile segment.
Drive sales of fibres and yarns made from recycled plastic and other sustainable materials.
Identify and acquire new customers across fashion, textile, apparel, and sustainability-focused industries.
Build a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, client outreach, sampling coordination, and business development activities.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while ensuring healthy profit margins.
Drive brand nominations for recycled Fibre and Yarn product SKUs
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key partners.
Manage customer inquiries, pricing discussions, and after-sales support.
Understand customer requirements and provide suitable textile solutions.
Coordinate with Operations and Delivery team to ensure timely procurement, production and dispatch of fibres and yarns as per customer requirements Optimize supply chain processes to improve margins, efficiency, reduce delays and ensure quality compliance.
Work closely with internal teams to maintain smooth order execution and delivery timelines.
Work closely with the marketing team to keep updated product capabilities and content strategy for the same
Expand Plastics For Change’s visibility as a key supplier of recycled fibres, yarns and fabrics.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Textile Engineering, Sustainability, Environmental Science, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
Minimum 5 years of experience in fibre sales, with at least 3 years in sustainable textiles, recycling, or eco-friendly products.
Experience working with clients in the fashion or textile industry and managing relationships with suppliers, distributors, and sustainability-focused organizations.
Knowledge of sustainability certifications and eco-labels such as GRS, OEKO-TEX, and Cradle to Cradle.
Proven track record in sales and business development within the sustainable or recycled fibre and yarn industry.
Understanding of recycled plastic materials and their applications in textiles.
Travelling is required as per business needs.

Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (Hub spot / Salesforce or similar).
