JOB DESCRIPTION – CONSULTANT ENT SURGEON
Position Consultant ENT Surgeon (Otorhinolaryngologist)
Location Health4U Multispeciality Clinic, Port Blair, Andaman & Nicobar Islands
Department ENT, Head & Neck Surgery Reporting To Medical Director / Clinical Director
Qualification - MBBS with MS/DNB in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) - Valid Medical Council Registration -
Fellowship in Head & Neck Surgery, Otology, Rhinology, Skull Base Surgery, or related subspecialty will be an added advantage
Experience - 1–10 Years of Post-Qualification
Experience - Freshly qualified specialists with strong surgical skills may also apply
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Services -
Diagnose and manage disorders of the ear, nose, throat, head and neck region - Conduct comprehensive ENT consultations and follow-up care
- Evaluate and manage emergency ENT cases - Provide evidence-based medical and surgical treatment Surgical Responsibilities
- Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy
- Septoplasty & Septorhinoplasty
- Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)
- Tympanoplasty & Mastoid Surgery
- Microlaryngeal Procedures
- Head & Neck Surgical Procedures
- Foreign Body Removal - Tracheostomy & Airway Management
- Management of ENT Trauma Cases Diagnostic Services
- Nasal Endoscopy
- Diagnostic Laryngoscopy
- Otoscopy & Microscopic Ear Examination
- Audiology Interpretation
- Vertigo Assessment & Management Patient Care & Documentation
- Maintain accurate clinical records
- Counsel patients regarding treatment options and surgical procedures
- Ensure high standards of patient safety and quality care
- Follow NABH and statutory guidelines Administrative Responsibilities
- Participate in health camps and outreach programs
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary specialists
- Assist in departmental growth and service expansion
- Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives Desired Skills
