About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Lumber Estimator to join our pre-construction team. You will be the bridge between blueprints and the job site, ensuring our projects are cost-effective, accurate, and ready for build. If you have a sharp eye for architectural drawings and a deep understanding of wood-frame construction, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Do
- Blueprint Analysis: Perform detailed material take-offs from architectural and structural drawings for residential and commercial wood-frame projects.
- Cost Optimization: Develop accurate estimates for lumber, engineered wood products (EWP), trusses, and hardware.
- Software Mastery: Utilize industry-standard software (such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam) to generate precise material lists.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Project Managers to resolve discrepancies in plans and provide value-engineering suggestions.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in lumber estimation or residential framing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and structural layouts.
- Math Accuracy: Strong mathematical skills, particularly in geometry and volume calculations.
- Software Savvy: Experience with 2D/3D takeoff software is highly preferred.
- Detail Obsessed: You catch the small errors in a floor plan before they become big problems on the job site.

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
